If your school has an MIS sync with Seneca, you can manage all of your school's classes, and student & teacher logins via the "school" page.
This can be accessed by clicking on the word school in the top right corner:
How to manage your school
Search, join, and view classes
Using the school classes tab, you can search, join, and view any class in the school - even if you don't teach them!
You can join multiple classes at once by using the checkboxes to the left. This is great for HoDs who want to see all the classes in their department.
You can also see when Seneca last synced with your school's data. If you make any changes to your MIS, these will be reflected by the next sync (overnight everyday).
Search, view, and reset student logins
Using the students tab, you can search for students by first and last name, or email. This is the email they should use to login to Seneca, taken straight from your MIS. If it's incorrect, you'll need to ask your IT department to change this in your MIS.
You can reset student passwords from this page in bulk by using the checkboxes to the left.
You are also able to see when students were last active on Seneca. This is great for making sure everyone's using the platform, and logging in with the correct syncing account.
Search, view, and reset teacher logins
Using the teachers tab, you can search for teachers by first and last name, or email. This is the email staff should use to login to Seneca, taken from your MIS. If it's incorrect, you'll need to ask your IT department to change this in your MIS.
You can reset staff passwords from this page to make sure everyone has access!
