You can now share assignments with your students using a direct link, making them easier to access and complete.
To get started, open any upcoming assignment and click the link button.
You’ll then see several options for sharing. You can copy the link and send it directly, or choose to share via Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, or email. Selecting one of these options will take you straight to the chosen platform, where you can quickly distribute the assignment.
Share a section with students after previewing it
Teachers can now share a section with their students directly from the end of a preview study session, without having to set up an assignment from scratch first. This gives you a fast, frictionless way to push a piece of content to your class after you've tried it yourself.
How it works
Preview a section as a teacher (for example, by previewing the student platform or following a classroom link with
?teacherSessionPreview=truein the URL, such as the QR code flyers for our new Maths content). When the session ends, you'll see a "Share with your students" option in place of the usual revision plan or daily goal prompts.
Click it to instantly create an assignment containing the section you just previewed.
Edit the title, classes, due date or other assignment details at any time afterwards.
Things to know
This flow works for signed-in teachers as well as anonymous users who follow a teacher-preview classroom link.
The assignment starts with just the single previewed section, but can be expanded or edited like any other assignment.
Students receive the assignment in the usual way once you confirm it.
