Seneca is always finding ways to save teachers' time as well as create fun and engaging learning experiences for students.

That's why we've made it possible to create an in-class game from any resource you want via Seneca's Magic Quizzes.

🎥 Watch this 2-minute demo video

NB: Ensure you're on the latest version of the Seneca app.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Resource Hub

Go to the resource hub, and in the top right, click "+ Create quiz"

Step 2: Create your content

  • Enter the quiz details

  • Upload your quiz resource

  • Wait for AI to do its magic ✨

Step 3: Check your quiz content

Scroll down to take a look through your quiz content and make sure the questions are relevant for your class - you can always edit them yourself by clicking the pencil icon.

NB: The video, information and text blocks will not appear in a game; only questions appear to students in a game. So make sure your class is familiar with the content before playing.

Step 4: Start the game

Click '🎮 Create Game' in the top right, and then click 'Start game' when you're ready to play.

Step 5: Invite students to the game

Once you've created your game room, you can share the room code or click 'Invite Players' to share a link with students via Classroom or Teams for them to join.

Step 6: Play the game

Once you've clicked "Start the Game!", you can either host the game or choose to participate and play against the students answering questions on the content of your quiz 💪
