Confusion when communicating with parents is a thing of the past!
Parents can connect to their child's Seneca account and check in on their recent activity, study time and preview any assignments teachers have set. The assignments section allows parents to quickly check when homework is due, Parents can also see their child's scores on their completed assignments.
Send parents reports
Watch the video below for a step-by-step guide on how to send parents reports with Seneca for free.
We want Seneca students to feel completely comfortable with who's seeing their progress on Seneca, so linking to a child requires the student's permission by opening a link their parent shares. Parents can connect to multiple child accounts and it's completely is free to use.
We have prepared a series of resources to help you explain Seneca to parents, including letters, leaflets, slide decks, presentations and much more. Click on the button below to access them.
If your school has not yet set up the school sync you will need to set up the parent accounts manually, here is an example e-mail you can share with your parents to help get them setup 😊

We have been using the online platform Seneca Learning in school and they have a useful free parent platform to keep track of your child's progress.
This lets you check in on their recent activity, overall study time and preview any homework assignments teachers have set them (and if they're overdue!!)
Here are some instructions for getting started:
Click here to create a parent account (if you arrive at a login page, make sure to click on the 'Sign up' option)
Click 'See your child's scores'
Copy and share the unique link with your child (or you can use the e-mail or Whatsapp buttons)
Ask them to open the link on their phone or laptop (whatever device they typically use Seneca with)
Once they've successfully opened the link they'll see a linked confirmation 🔗
Refresh the page on your parent account to review their progress.
If you have any issues, you can find a video guide here.
To add a second or third child tap the "add another child" button - and repeat steps 3-6 above.
