Seneca offers three login methods: email and password, Google or Microsoft login. Encountering login issues on Seneca Learning can be frustrating, but most problems can be resolved by following a few troubleshooting steps. This guide covers common issues related to Single Sign-On (SSO) and email login, along with solutions to help you regain access to your account.

Common Login Issues

  • Errors when using SSO (e.g., Microsoft SSO)

  • Problems with email login, such as incorrect credentials or account configuration

Troubleshooting SSO Errors

Incorrect SSO Link

If you encounter an error due to an incorrect SSO link on your account, follow these steps:

  1. Contact learnmore@seneca.io and support will remove the incorrect link.

  2. Log in using 'Continue with email' option and use the newly provided password

  3. Once logged in, update your password in Account Settings or reconfigure the SSO link correctly.

Microsoft SSO Errors

Microsoft SSO errors are often caused by IT security policies or account permissions. To resolve this:

  1. Check the permissions on your Microsoft account.

  2. Ensure that the account has the necessary permissions to log in to Seneca Learning.

  3. Contact your IT administrator if the issue persists.

If you are unable to log in using email:

  1. Verify that you are using the correct email address and password.

  2. Reset your password if you suspect it is incorrect.

  3. Ensure that your account is not linked to an incorrect SSO configuration. If you have tried these steps and are still not able to access your account, get in touch with our support team at learnmore@seneca.io.

Once logged into your account, you can check if you have Google or Microsoft login enabled in your account settings under the 'Login & Password' tab. Additionally, ensure that your account settings are correctly configured and that no conflicting SSO links are present.
