Step by step maths help, right beside the question
When studying Maths on desktop, you'll now see a handy sidebar on the right hand side of the screen that shows a step by step walkthrough for each question. This means you can follow the working without leaving the question, no more switching tabs or scrolling.
In addition, all new maths content on Seneca now includes a video example attached to every question, giving you a worked demonstration you can watch before or after attempting the problem.
How it works
Open any Maths session on the Seneca desktop site.
The step by step walkthrough panel will appear automatically on the right of the screen as you work through questions.
For questions in new maths content, look for the video example button to watch a worked example at any time.
Things to know
Video examples are available on new maths content, older content may not yet have them.
Step by step help on mobile
Maths students studying on their mobile phone can now access the same step by step walkthrough help no desktop required. Instead of a sidebar, the walkthrough appears in a drawer that slides up from the bottom of the screen, keeping it easy to read without leaving the question.
This update means the full step-by-step experience is now available across both desktop and mobile, so you can get the help you need however you study.
How to use it on mobile
Open any Maths session in the Seneca app or mobile browser.
As you work through questions, tap the help icon to open the step-by-step walkthrough drawer.
The drawer slides up from the bottom, read through the steps, then dismiss it to return to the question.
