How do I create a Scheme of Learning (batch assignments)?

Schedule a whole series of assignments across your classes in one go.

Scheme of Learning is a Seneca Premium feature.

A Scheme of Learning lets you plan and schedule a whole series of assignments across one or more classes in a single setup, so your homework is mapped out in advance.

Create a Scheme of Learning

  1. Click Create + and choose Scheme of learning.

  2. Class - tick the classes you want (use Show all classes in your school or search), then click Next.

  3. Choose topics - Drag topics from the course syllabus on the left into the weeks on the right to build your plan. Each week holds the topics you add. Once a topic is in a week, choose the content you want to include for it.

    Tip: Skip holiday weeks, turn on holiday week when you don't want homework set or due for that week.

  4. Set the details - Give the assignment a name and set if you'd like them to start on the same day of the week each week.

  5. Preview - check the full schedule you've planned, then schedule then assignments.
