Instead of guessing what to revise, Seneca creates a personalised exam using the topics you’ve studied to help you practise exam technique, improve timing and build confidence before the real thing.

Think of it as a safe practice exam:
🧠 Smart topic selection
⏱️ Real exam timing
📊 Instant feedback

Perfect for revision sessions, homework practice or a final confidence boost before exam day.

How to Start a Mini Mock

  1. Select the course you wish to study

  2. Click Exam Prep on the left hand sidebar

  3. Select Mini Mock

Seneca will automatically suggest topics based on your learning history.

You can:

  • Keep the suggested topics

  • Remove some

  • Add more you want to practise

Then click Next.

Customise Your Mini Mock

You can tailor the exam to match your revision goals by choosing to include:

  • Hard questions – challenge yourself

  • Calculation questions – practise working out answers

  • AI marked questions only – get instant marking

  • Wrong answer questions – revisit past mistakes

After selecting your options Seneca generates a summary showing:

  • Total marks available

  • Time allowed

When you’re ready click Let’s go!

Taking the Mini Mock

The questions appear in an exam style layout:

  • Lower mark questions appear earlier

  • Higher mark questions appear later (just like a real paper)

  • A timer keeps you working under exam conditions

When finished, simply submit your answers.

Marking & Results

Once submitted:

  • The AI marks your answers instantly

  • Some questions may require self marking (if AI marking is off)

  • Occasionally the AI cannot mark a response and these appear with a grey score

For those, you can mark them yourself using the mark scheme.

You’ll then see your final score and feedback to help guide your next revision session.

Reviewing Past Mini Mocks

All your completed Mini Mocks are saved, so you can:

  • Revisit your answers

  • Track your improvement

  • Learn from mistakes over time

🎯 Tip: Try doing a Mini Mock after finishing a topic, it’s one of the fastest ways to find weak spots before a real exam.
