Seneca Learning's purpose is to make learning more fun and effective.

Over many years, teachers have asked us if it's possible to create in-class games built around Seneca's curriculum-aligned content. As of October 2025, we're testing ways to make this possible.

How to test the game

To test the game, you'll need to be on the latest version of the Seneca app, and also have the correct permissions enabled.

You can enable the correct permissions simply by clicking the button below.

How to create a game

Watch this ~2 min explainer video on how to select the content to create a game.

How the game works

The game is a "tournament" style game where students compete in 1 vs 1 matches, answer questions as quickly and accurately as possible - and whoever wins the head-to-head earns a medal 🏅

Players are then matched against students with a similar number of 'wins' to them in the next round.

At the end of all the rounds, you should have an undefeated tournament winner in your class 👑🥳

There is currently no limit to the number of students who can play in one game.

Feedback

This game is in early development phases and will be tweaked and improved based on teacher and student feedback.

At the end of the game, you'll see a green continue button. This will take you to a screen where you can then give feedback.

Please fill out this survey as honestly as possible, and tell your friends and colleagues to do the same.

Happy playing!
