Seneca is always testing out new ways to make learning more fun and effective.

At the moment, we're building some new in-class games to get students engaged with our curriculum-aligned content.

Step 1: Getting set up

To create a game, you'll need to be on the latest version of the Seneca app, click below to ensure you're up to date.

Step 2: How to create a game

Watch this explainer video on how to select the right content to create a game.

We'll cover;

  • How to select the content for a game

  • How to get students to join your game

  • What controls you have as a host

How the game works

The game is a "tournament" style game where students compete in 1 vs 1 matches, answering questions as quickly and accurately as possible - the student who wins the head-to-head earns a medal 🏅

Players are then matched against students with a similar number of 'wins' to them in the next round.

At the end of all the rounds, you'll have discovered an undefeated tournament winner in your class 👑

There is currently no limit to the number of students who can play in one game.

Step 3: Feedback

This game is in its early development phase and will be tweaked and improved based on feedback from teachers and students.

At the end of the game, you'll see a green continue button. This will take you to a screen where you can then give feedback.

You're also able to replay a game with the same content, if your students would like another go at becoming class champion 👑

Happy playing!
